Who am I?
There’s a lot more information on the About page but the short version is that I’m an Information Security professional in the Denver area who gets energy from learning, working with a team, and crafting new directions be that with a small company or a new org within an established company.
I’ve got experience in management, leading teams from 3 to 50 to stellar results, forming close bonds along the way. I’ve worked for Financial Services institutions on modernizing their infrastructure while securing it and becoming “one of the team” even though I didn’t work for that company. I’ve crafted Security awareness programs for presentation and company all-hands meetings for our clients, and much more.
I’m currently pursuing a BS in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance, while also having completed a full Front-End Development Scholarship through Udacity sponsored by Google. I love hearing professionals and experts in their field drill down some of the intricacies and nuance of their professions and enjoy getting to know the people that make the machines run.
I love getting up to the mountains or going to a Rockies game in the summer, and couldn’t be in a better place to enjoy good beer, good whiskey, and good people out here in Colorado.
